2011 Census and SASPAC Training Courses

Training Content

A typical training session will provide users with an introduction to the 2001 Census and enable them to select, print, manipulate, export and map data relevant to their area of interest.

Pre-requisites

Our training programmes provide a full introduction to both the Census datasets as well as the operation of SASPAC. Basic computer literacy and an interest in data analysis are all that are required.

Technical Requirements

If you opt for on-location training you will need to provide a suitable training room equipt with enough PC’s for all those attending the session. Please view the Requirements for Training document for more details.

One-day Training Programme
The one-day course includes an introduction to census data and covers the basic operation of SASPAC for data interrogation. Download an example of a one-day programme.

The second training day builds on the material covered in the first. The programme covers more complex operations and specialist features within SASPAC. Download an example of a two-day programme.
