ONS have announced a series of roadshows in September 2011 (London, Cardiff, Leeds, Birmingham, Peterborough and Crewe) to provide stakeholders with an opportunity to find out what happens next in the Census process and discover what, how and when data will be delivered. To register your place email ONS.
Today ONS published a number of reports following the second round of consultation exercises – undertaken back in spring – on the statistical outputs planned for the 2011 Census results. The reports include: an analysis of user responses; a report on the ‘best fitting’ method for supplying ward data and the proposed running order for the outputs (starting in July 2012 but does not commit to dates beyond this – a full output timetable can be expected in early 2012).
GROS have reported on the recent spring 2011 consultation exercise relating to the planned statistical outputs from the 2011 Census. Alongside the report they have also published a very useful set of pre-defined table outlines (still provisional) which are available in Excel. GROS are inviting users to comment on these designs, or any other elements of the summary of user responses, by emailing them before 31 August.
