The 2001 Census produced a number of tables at ward level specifically relating to the armed forces population (AF001 to AF004). This population is likely to be geographically concentrated across specific local authorities but key to understanding service provision and demand. ONS are preparing the equivalent 2011 Census tables and have circulated some table mockups (.xls) for users to comment on. The current intention is to provide this tables at regional level only. ONS are keen to hear from users on their data requirements and requested feedback by 11 February.
The latest 2011 Census Detailed and Local Characteristics tables are now available to download from the SASPAC website along with a software update (v9.85).
