UK Mid-Year Population Estimates 2001 to 2007
Estimates of the resident population for the UK are produced annually by ONS (England & Wales), GROS (Scotland) and NISRA (Northern Ireland). These are available by single year of age and sex for a variety of different geographies.
To update from SASPAC v9.00 (or v9.05) to access this dataset users need to download the update files (zip) and install version 9.06. Detailed instructions on how to do this are outlined in User Guidance Note GE-07 and SASPAC System files of the population estimates (2001 to 2007) can be downloaded below:
